Wow, we have had a busy summer! When Evan was born I kind of figured that this would have to be a pretty low-key summer, but it sure hasn't turned out that way! Good thing Evan is such a trooper. I have my calendar open in front of me, and from the end of June until now, we've had a trip to Bellingham to meet my new nephew, July 4th fun, a week-long trip to Klamath Falls, some of my family visit us here, Travis attended a VBS, and a mini-camping trip. And the rest of August is filled to the brim with four parties/showers, a visit from my sister and her family and some fun with them, and our anniversary. Phew! What's even better is that we've also had plenty of opportunities to enjoy the simple pleasures of summer...popsicles, visits with my grandparents and their pool, walks to the swings/around the neighborhood, eating dinner on the front porch, playing in the backyard, the Puyallup farmer's market...it has just been wonderful. I love summer.
So, the next few posts are dedicated to our summer fun thus far, beginning with our trip to Bellingham and a few from the 4th of July.

I love Jayna's July 4th dress! And whose hammock is that?
